As a Visual Communications student at the University of Delaware, my goal is to pursue a career in branding and communication design—crafting visual identities that resonate deeply with audiences. A passion for visual storytelling has been a consistent theme in my life, beginning in elementary art classes and growing through my enjoyment in creating thoughtful, intricate gifts for loved ones. Design's unique ability to merge aesthetics with meaning—communicating ideas, evoking emotion, and driving action—is what fuels my creative journey.
A strong foundation in analog design courses, later expanded through digital design studies, has helped me in developing a versatile and adaptive design approach. Skills in Adobe Creative Suite, typography, and layout design have been refined through a wide range of academic projects, always with the goal of finding the most effective and impactful solution. Whether it's a logo that captures the essence of a brand or an entire visual system that communicates its values, bringing concepts to life through design is where my fulfillment lies.
Beyond technical skills, leadership opportuities have been extremely helpful in my growth. Executive board positions have strengthened collaboration and project management abilities, while copywriting opportunities have honed a knack for crafting concise, compelling language that supports visual messages. These experiences have reinforced the value of thoughtful storytelling in both verbal and visual forms.
Looking ahead, my focus is on joining forward-thinking design studios or in-house branding teams that value creativity, collaboration, and authenticity. The aim is to help companies define and express their unique voice through bold, strategic visual identities—work that not only stands out in a crowded market but also connects meaningfully with the people it serves.
